Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 29, 2026 · SUYT, Inc.
SUYT, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“SUYT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information about you when you use our website at www.suyt.com and related services (collectively, the “Services”). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not access the Services.
1. Information We Collect
For California residents, the categories of personal information we have collected in the preceding 12 months correspond to the following statutory categories: identifiers (e.g., name, email, phone, address, IP address, and online identifiers); commercial information (e.g., vehicles offered for sale and transaction records); internet or other electronic network activity (e.g., browsing and interaction data); general (IP-based) geolocation; audio/visual information (e.g., vehicle photographs you submit); financial information and government identifiers used to verify ownership and complete a sale; and inferences we draw to evaluate offers. The sources, business purposes, and categories of recipients for each are described in Sections 1.1–1.3, 2, and 3.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you use the Services, you may provide us with:
- Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and mailing address;
- Vehicle information — year, make, model, VIN, mileage, condition, photographs, and other details about your vehicle;
- Account credentials — email and authentication information when you create an account;
- Transaction information — payment details, title documents, and other information needed to complete a purchase; and
- Communications — messages, inquiries, and feedback you send to us.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including:
- IP address and general geographic location;
- Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers;
- Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site;
- Referring URLs; and
- Cookie and similar tracking technology data (see Section 5 below).
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from third-party sources, such as vehicle history and title data providers, identity verification services, and, if you sign in through a third-party service (e.g., Google), basic profile information from that provider consistent with your privacy settings on that platform.
1.4 Sensitive Personal Information
To verify your identity and your ownership of a vehicle and to complete a purchase, we may collect information that qualifies as “sensitive personal information” under California law, such as a driver’s license or other government identification number and title, lien, or financial account information. We use and disclose this information solely for purposes permitted under California Civil Code § 1798.121 — to verify identity and ownership, prevent fraud, complete and service the transaction, and comply with law. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not sell it or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we limit our use of sensitive personal information to these permitted purposes, the CPRA “right to limit” does not require a separate opt-out link; you may still contact us at legal@suyt.com with any questions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate vehicles and generate purchase offers;
- Communicate with you about your submission, offer, and transaction;
- Verify your identity and vehicle ownership;
- Process payments and complete vehicle purchases;
- Create and manage your account;
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- Send you transactional and service-related communications;
- Improve and personalize the Services;
- Monitor for and prevent fraud, security threats, and policy violations;
- Comply with applicable legal obligations; and
- With your consent, send you marketing communications about our services.
We will not sell your vehicle submission data to competitors or use it for purposes materially inconsistent with those described in this policy without your consent.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, like most websites, we use advertising and analytics technologies that may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (such as online identifiers and activity) under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time — see Section 7. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
3.1 Service Providers
We share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Services, including inspection services, transport providers, payment processors, title and escrow services, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, and analytics services. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
3.2 Business Transfers
If SUYT is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Site before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (such as a subpoena, court order, or government request), or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or comply with applicable law.
3.4 Advertising & Analytics Partners
We use Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (the Meta Pixel) to measure site performance and the effectiveness of our advertising. Where you have consented (or, outside opt-in regions, where you have not opted out), these partners may receive online identifiers, device/browser data, and information about your activity on our Site, and may use it to measure conversions and show you relevant ads on other platforms. This activity may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising or a “sale” under some U.S. state laws. You can control this through our cookie banner, the “Do Not Sell or Share My Information” link in our footer, or a Global Privacy Control signal (see Sections 5 and 7).
3.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to complete transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account information is retained for the life of your account and for a reasonable period thereafter. Vehicle submission data associated with completed purchases is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for our business-records, title-history, warranty, tax, and legal-compliance purposes, and no longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes.
When we no longer need personal information, we securely delete or anonymize it.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to operate and improve the Services. Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for authentication, security, and core site functionality (always on);
- Preference cookies — to remember your settings and choices, including your consent preferences;
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site; and
- Advertising cookies — Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure and improve our advertising and, where permitted, show you relevant ads.
5.1 Managing Your Choices
You control analytics and advertising cookies through our consent banner, shown on your first visit. You can change your choice anytime via the Cookie Preferences and Do Not Sell or Share My Information links in our footer. In the EU, UK, Switzerland, and Canada, non-essential cookies are off until you opt in; elsewhere they are on until you opt out. Essential cookies cannot be disabled. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
5.2 Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension sends a GPC (or “Do Not Track”) signal, we automatically treat it as an opt-out of analytics/advertising cookies and of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Correction
You may access and update much of your personal information by logging into your account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that you cannot update yourself, contact us at legal@suyt.com.
7.2 Marketing Communications
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly. We will continue to send you transactional and service-related communications necessary to manage your account or complete transactions.
7.3 Opt Out of Sale / Sharing & Targeted Advertising
You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising at any time by using the Do Not Sell or Share My Information link in our footer, declining non-essential cookies in our banner, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal. These controls are browser- and device-specific, so you may need to set them on each browser you use.
7.4 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to access, correct, or delete your personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (see Section 7.3); to limit the use of sensitive personal information (as described in Section 1.4, we already restrict our use of sensitive personal information to legally permitted purposes); and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the preceding 12 months, we have shared, for cross-context behavioral advertising, the categories of online identifiers and internet/network activity with our advertising partners (Section 3.4), and we have disclosed the categories of personal information described in Section 1 to our service providers (Section 3) for business purposes. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To submit a verifiable request, email legal@suyt.com with the subject “California Privacy Request,” or use an authorized agent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
7.5 EEA, UK & Switzerland (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to evaluate your vehicle and complete a transaction), our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Services), your consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we transfer data outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. To exercise these rights, contact legal@suyt.com.
7.6 Canada (PIPEDA / Quebec Law 25)
If you are in Canada, we collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent (express or implied as permitted by law) and for the purposes described in this policy. You have the right to access and correct your personal information and to withdraw consent, subject to legal and contractual limits. Quebec residents have additional rights, including the right to data portability and to be informed of automated decision-making. Contact legal@suyt.com to exercise these rights.
7.7 Residents of Other Jurisdictions
Depending on where you reside, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the right to access, correct, or erase personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at legal@suyt.com.
8. Financial Incentives (Referral Program)
We offer a referral program through which you may receive a reward (for example, “Refer a Friend — Earn $500+”) when someone you refer completes a qualifying vehicle sale with us. Because this program provides compensation in connection with the collection of personal information, it may be considered a “financial incentive” under the CCPA. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time by discontinuing participation or contacting us at legal@suyt.com.
Material terms: to participate, you (the referrer) provide your contact information and the contact information of the person you refer, and that person provides their own vehicle and contact information through our normal submission process. Rewards are paid only when a referred transaction is completed, in the amount stated at the time of the offer. We have, in good faith, estimated that the value of the personal information involved is reasonably related to the value of the reward paid; the personal information has no independent monetary value to us apart from its use in evaluating and completing a vehicle purchase. Please refer only people who have agreed to be contacted by us.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at legal@suyt.com.
10. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as an email notification or a prominent notice on the Site). We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us:
legal@suyt.com
We aim to respond to all privacy requests within 45 days, as permitted by the CCPA, and sooner where we can.
